A Deferred Moan

  1

  Bleeding

The fire washes us

We, who are watching the drown

Suspended

Between our ramparts and

The gasping of the fire

2

  Flood

In a purple paradise

Not created yet

By bucket from the well

I draw your gipsy hair

And Sketch your features

Your sound’s tone

  And your spring’s whinny
  Until the bucket burns
  And the well overflows

  3

  A Deferred Moan

  Since the first eternity
  In hell’s exhibition
  A million years
  The sea agitates
  On the Devil’s paws
  Rubbing the red rock
  Night after night
  When her Devils gave up
The flow flee to the ebb
She stared at the joy of  life
The other life danced from her sleeves
  A deferred moan
