Preface…

How desolate these places?
They are vacant
Save of
Every thing!

1- Directions

My town is so long
So, I am supine as a river.
My town is a wide
So, I am in touch with desert border
My town is deep
So, I am implant my self in to the earth
My town is lofty
So, my whimper as rain
Oh.
I am drawn from all directions.

2- Incongruities

Oh Shat Al Arab
When you off poetry
I dry up of water
Oh AL ( Seyab ) statue
Your challenging Rafidin bank
With punched pocket
Oh Farahydy
When thy wish to transfere your statue
Government building itself is shifted.

***

Al Seyab : the famous poet in IRAQ.

3 - Duration Or Sojourn

My towns are departing
So, I made a habit of duration
Valedictory, all off them are leaving
Here I am
Standing waiting for paths.
The last departed
Were trees
Left with me verdure
And deep root
And the departed sky
Left with me flashing
All of them departed
All eyes
Looked toward us suspiciously
We only stay
I
And my friend, the dirt.
